The borough's children's playgrounds are in the process of being updated, read more in the Richmond and Twickenham Times.
The one in Mortlake has been updated recently and is really nice....
If you live around North Sheen, this one is really nice in summer as there's a paddling pool.

- The Orange Tree: busy, close to Richmond station
- The Railway: good guest ales, nice food, close to Mortlake station
- The Ship: nice for its BBQ on the river
- The White Cross: best river pub in Richmond, food -no kids
- The White Horse: a favourite now they allow kids in again, playground just besides, great food!
- The White Swan: close to Richmond green, garden, food
